How Do E Cigarettes Work?
An e cigarette concentrates on fulfilling the smokers need for nicotine, while eliminating the harmful chemicals that cause all kinds of diseases affiliated with tobacco inhalation.

The e cigarette comprises of three basic mechanisms:
The Battery:
The first is the power supply that allows the process to take place without any incendiary devices. These are lithium ion rechargeable batteries and power the electric circuit that will eventually heat up the nicotine and produce smoke vapor – accurately simulating real cigarette smoke.
The batteries also light up the tip of the e cigarette so that when it dims you know they are running low and need to be recharged.
The Nicotine Cartridge:
Yes the e cigarette contains nicotine, though there are cartridges available that are nicotine free. Each e cigarette contains a nicotine cartridge that is filled with nicotine, flavoring and propylene glycol. Propylene glycol is an organic composite more commonly referred to as propane 1. It is a clear liquid that is used to vaporize the nicotine so that it can be safely inhaled.
There is a disposable mouthpiece attached to the nicotine cartridge joining with the power supply to complete the cigarette. These cartridges come in a multitude of flavors, including tobacco.
The Atomizer:
The atomizer uses the direct air flow through the e cigarette and the power supply to heat the contents of the nicotine cartridge which in turn causes the nicotine and propylene glycol to vaporize. You are then able to inhale the nicotine through the mouthpiece. Completely chemical free, odorless smoke is produced.
To recap: Nicotine is inhaled through the mouthpiece of the e cigarette when the atomizer is activated by direct air flow to heat the contents in the nicotine cartridge. Simple, non toxic and easy to use.
